Diamond tools for ceramic
Calibration
The process of calibrating
is necessary to bring all the
porcelain tiles exactly on the
same thickness.
Important is a high rate of
removal capability together
with a good finishing.
According the necessities of
the process we can offer three
types of calibration
technologies:
- Spiral rollers with different
numbers of spirals and
diamond grits/concentration
according to the position
of the unit in the process.
- Packed disc rollers, normally
used only in the first position
for an efficient removal of
material.
- Cylindrical rollers on rotating
heads: one of the latest
developments, which combines a high removal rate
with an excellent finishing.
All the tools are available
for the different machines,
as Ancora, Breton, Comes,
Simec, Pedrini, etc. |
Squaring
 The squaring or dressing
wheels are necessary to size
the lateral parts of the tiles.
There are cup wheels and
peripheral wheels being used.
Based on the application we
distinguish continuous rim in
single face or double face with
resin bond or metallic bond
and segmented wheels.
The wheels are available
in different diameters
and diamond grains. The attachments will be
delivered for the various
machine producers.
Silenced wheels can be
delivered on request.
